Safety Advisor

Are you looking to take the next step in your career with a Tier 1 civil company? We have opportunities for motivated Safety Advisors to join our team on major road infrastructure projects across South Australia.

Whether you’re looking to work in metro Adelaide or regional DIDO (Drive in, Drive out) work, these roles are a great way to gain experience on high-profile government projects.

These positions start as an initial 6-month contract with the chance to move into a permanent role or extend upon completion.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• You will be the key safety person on-site, ensuring our crews work safely across both metro and regional road projects
• Maintaining a strong site presence and ensuring crews are operating safely in high-pedestrian metro areas
• Conducting site inspections and ensuring all work follows safety standards and SWMS
• Handling safety reporting and site compliance for government departments such as the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT)
• Working a mix of day shifts, with some night shift and regional DIDO travel required depending on the project

What You’ll Need:

• Cert IV in WHS (mandatory)
• Traffic Management experience (mandatory)
• 1-5 years of Australian experience in a safety or site-based role
• Ability to work some night shifts or a DIDO roster in regional SA
• Experience in road or civil construction (desirable)
• ICAM investigation or Injury Management experience (desirable)
